The vast majority of society is based on adhering to a schedule.
In order to assist in the recovery of the nation, it is imperative that the public resumes regular schedules and routines.
Resuming regular schedules will allow most people to feel as though they are heading towards a return towards normal life.
One of the preliminary areas where a nationwide schedule has been set for the past several decades, has been regarding the annual schedule of the public school system.
The annual school year traditionally starts from late August/early September and ends in June, however can resume at any point.
At the current time there are facilities throughout the country that are currently operating in various stages.
Considering that it is currently January 2021, opening the schools nationwide, and expecting them to run throughout the summer might be a possible option to allow students nationwide to adjust to the time lost.
Implementing policies nationwide by issuing guidances to each state regarding the effective and safe procedures to open schools is imperative.
Guidances can depend on the population of each district or other variabilities including household statistics.
School openings can be based on age level, starting with the healthiest segment of the population, the high school age bracket.
High schools nationwide should resume immediately especially regarding scheduled commencements in 2021.

There are no health mandates necessary at the current time.
It is safe to resume all regular activities.
